I AM NOT AFRAID

Nowadays, everyone is anti-this. Anti-that. We've got all of these groups that have been identified as one thing or another. However, NO ONE wishes to identify as something that REALLY DOES matter. It's called being a human being.

We have all of this hate for people that are unlike ourselves. Yet we view being an asshole to that person as a solution.

Black Lives Matter

Blue Lives Matter

White Lives Matter

Even Black Labs Lives Matter.

Hey man, WE GET IT!

EVERY living thing has a purpose in life. Whether it be you or the dog living down the street. We are ALL something that was created for a purpose. Whether you're pigmentally enhanced or white as a ghost. We ALL have a reason for being here - and feelings.

However, our society has gone off on a tangent of trying to make one race, group, occupation or breed as being more special than the rest.

News Flash: YOU'RE NOT!

YOU as a police officer are no more special than a Combat Vet. YOU, as a white person, are no more special than a black person. YOUR DOG is not superior to another dog just because your dog is a Labrador!

Why do we want to feel superior to anyone, anyways?

We call life a "rat race", however who's the "rat trainer"? YOU ARE.

You see, when you spend your life trying to PROVE that you're better than everybody else, you're just proving how AWFUL you really are. There should be no competition in this thing we call life.

No one is getting out of it alive anyways.

When we think of things that REALLY matter, I don't think of myself as a person that would cause disharmony in the human race. I would like to think of myself as someone who enjoyed being a human being and treating my fellow human beings with respect.

We were born alone. We will die alone. It's what you do in the middle that will make the difference.

My name is Leilani. I'm a HUGE Eminem fan. I'm not afraid to stand alone.
